The only thing that stays the same is change, also for Rag Doll: After nine successful years with Rag Doll, Tanja Becker has left the group to pursue different musical styles with other bands. We thank her for her huge musical contribution to the band over so many years and wish her all the best for her future musical endeavors.
Tanja's successor is from way up north: Ulrikke Hanspach-Torkildsen was born in Oslo and started playing piano and euphonium as a child. Her career as a trombonist and euphonist in brass bands has been long and impressive.
In 2010, she began her studies at Berlin's Hanns Eisler University for Music which she concluded with a master's degree. Since then she has been active as a brass band leader, instrumental teacher, and as an active classical and jazz trombonist in orchestras, opera houses, and small ensembles.
We're very happy to welcome her in our midst because she's just bubbling over with new ideas that will now find their way onto the stage with Amy and Käthe. You have something to look forward to!

Die Auswärtige Presse from Hamburg has dedicated an amazing review to our CD "Beneath The Crown Of The Empress". The author really noticed what we're all about. We say thank you! But read for yourself, here it is!

We've Made It
The Corona pandemic may be a disaster, but it offered us the possibility to not only lavish lots of time on our new CD, but also to give our website a complete overhaul – it's been completely reprogrammed in PHP, CSS, and JavaScript! We're taking the old adage that crises are chances literally!
We hope you'll have lots of fun with our new web presence, will keep ordering CDs, and we hope to see you all again in spring at a (probably open-air) concert!
Warm regards,
Käthe, Tanja, and Amy
